Outsource medical billing without changing your EMR: claims filed, denials worked and aged AR recovered.
“Affordable, Swift, and Ensured Billing Solutions for Security”.
Most practices do not have a billing problem; they have a follow-up problem. The first claim goes out reliably. What decides the collection rate is what happens to the eight percent that come back, whether somebody reads the denial, fixes the cause and refiles inside the timely filing window, or writes it off. Our medical billing services are built around that eight percent.
We work in your existing system rather than migrating you to ours, we report on denial reasons rather than just collections, and we go back through the aged AR a previous biller abandoned, because those balances are still yours until the filing limit says otherwise.
As a medical billing company, we provide medical practice billing services for solo physicians, small groups and multi-provider clinics. Practices that outsource medical billing to us keep their EMR and their workflow, and gain the follow-up a busy front office has no time for. Billing is priced as a percentage of what we collect, so there is no fixed overhead to carry. Running a small office? See medical billing for small practices, or how the whole cycle runs in revenue cycle management services.
Our billers and coders prepare claims properly and push to get you reimbursed quickly. We have provided medical billing services to doctors for over a decade, and in that time we have learned where the money gets stuck.
Structured Charge Entry
Charges are entered through a set process with checks at each step. That is how we hold accuracy above 98%. At this stage, errors are rare.
Fast Claim Submission
Our claim submission team files both electronically and on paper. We know how Medicaid, Medicare and the major insurers each want a claim laid out, and those details matter.
Reliable Claim Scrubbing
Coding mistakes are a leading cause of rejected and denied claims. So they have to be caught before the claim goes to the insurer, not after. That is what our claim scrubbing does.
Billing and Collections
The most important part of billing is collecting on time. Let unpaid claims pile up and your revenue targets slip. Our team chases payers early and keeps that pile small.
Payment Posting Process
Your accounts receivable report is a picture of the practice financial health. Payment posting is what makes that picture accurate, and it is where problems first become visible.
Financial Statement Reports
We send you regular statements and reports so you can see how the billing is going. We chase insurers for payment, and the reports flag anything still unpaid after 120 days.
Practices using NPs and PAs have a billing decision to make on every visit. Services billed under the mid-level's own NPI are paid by Medicare at 85% of the physician fee schedule. Services that qualify as incident-to may be billed under the supervising physician at 100% but only when the patient is established, the plan of care is established, no new problem is addressed at that visit, and the physician provides direct supervision in the office suite.
That 15% difference, multiplied across a full schedule, is significant, and incident-to billed on visits that do not meet the conditions is a common audit finding. We set the rule per payer and document the split properly. See nurse practitioner credentialing services for the enrollment side.
Every practice has the same cycle and most of them lose money in the same four places.
Eligibility not checked, or checked but not for network status on that specific plan. Authorization not obtained, or obtained and then expired. Both create denials that are technically preventable and practically invisible until the claim comes back.
Services performed and never charged. This is the quietest loss in the cycle because nothing denies, nothing appears in an aging report, and nobody is looking for a claim that does not exist. It is found by reconciling the schedule against the charges, every day, and asking about every appointment with no charge attached.
Most denials are worked once and then written off. Many are worth a second attempt, and a good share are worth an appeal with the record attached. What decides it is whether anybody sorts denials by reason and works the categories, or simply works the pile in date order.
Sorted by reason, a month of denials usually shows two or three causes producing most of the volume. Fix those upstream and the pile shrinks rather than being processed faster.
Balances past ninety days get quieter and quieter as timely filing and appeal windows close. Practices leave them because they feel unrecoverable, and a meaningful share of them are not. Old accounts receivable is the work nobody wants and it is usually where the largest single recovery in a takeover sits.
Four numbers tell you almost everything: days in accounts receivable, the percentage of claims paid on first submission, the denial rate by reason, and the percentage of the receivable over ninety days. Watch them monthly. A practice that cannot produce them does not know whether its billing is working, whoever is doing it.
Most practices that outsource medical billing do it because one in-house biller cannot cover everything. The comparison is less about salary than about what does not get done.
| In-house biller | Outsourced to CureCloudMed | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | Salary, benefits, training, software seats and clearinghouse fees | A percentage of what we collect |
| Cover for leave and turnover | Claims stop when the biller is away or leaves | A team, so the work continues |
| Denial follow-up | Often the first thing dropped in a busy week | Every denial read, corrected and refiled or appealed |
| Aged AR | Old balances written off in bulk | Worked to the payer's timely filing limit |
| Specialty and payer rules | What one person knows | Billers who see the same payers across many practices |
| Reporting | Whatever the EMR produces | Monthly collections, denial reasons and days in AR |
We charge a percentage of what we collect for you, so we only earn when you are paid. The rate depends on your specialty, claim volume and payer mix. Clearing an old backlog of aged AR, or credentialing work, is quoted separately so you can see exactly what you are paying for. You get the number in writing before anything starts.
Your patient data stays in your systems. We work inside your EMR with named, role-based user accounts, under a signed business associate agreement, and access is removed the day an engagement ends. The claims, reports and patient records remain yours.
We bill in AdvancedMD, NextGen Healthcare, Epic, PrognoCIS and ICANotes, and in behavioral health systems such as SimplePractice, TherapyNotes, TheraNest and Valant. No migration and no new software license. See every system we work in.
It usually is when days in AR are rising, denials are piling up unworked, one person holds all the billing knowledge, or the practice is growing faster than the billing team. It may not be worth it when an experienced in-house team already collects well and has cover for leave. We will tell you which side you are on after looking at a month of claims.

Outsourcing usually wins when denials and aged AR are not being worked or when one person holds all the billing knowledge. A well-staffed, experienced in-house team with cover for leave can do as well. We compare the two honestly after reviewing your claims.
No. We work in the EMR and practice management system you already use.
Most practices go live within a few weeks of signing, once access and payer setup are in place. Old AR from the previous biller is worked in parallel.
It has to be. We sign a business associate agreement before accessing anything and work inside your systems with named user accounts.
Yes. You get a monthly report on collections, denial reasons and days in AR, and you keep full access to your own EMR and reports.
We triage it by what is still within timely filing limits and work the recoverable balances, rather than writing them off.
Yes. A solo provider gets the same billers, denial work and reporting as a large group.
Send us a month of claims and your aged AR. We will tell you what is being denied, why, and what is recoverable.
