Roles We Hire For

CureCloudMed is a medical billing and credentialing company in Fairfax, Virginia. We bill for more than 100 providers across 50+ specialties in more than 30 states, and the team grows as our clients do. When we hire, it is almost always for one of these roles:

  • Medical biller / AR follow-up specialist. Works claims from submission to payment: charge review, claim scrubbing, payer follow-up, denial appeals and payment posting. See the work in our medical billing services and denial management pages.
  • Certified medical coder. Assigns CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS codes and modifiers from provider documentation, and feeds coding fixes back to the billing team. A CPC, CCS or equivalent certification is expected. See medical coding.
  • Credentialing specialist. Builds and maintains CAQH ProView profiles, files Medicare enrollment in PECOS, state Medicaid and commercial panel applications, and follows each file up weekly until it is approved. See medical credentialing services.
  • Front desk and eligibility support. Insurance verification, prior authorizations and scheduling support for client practices. See front desk administration and prior authorization services.

Where You Would Work

Our office is at 11350 Random Hills Rd, Suite 175A, Fairfax, VA 22030. Some roles are office-based and some can be done remotely within the United States; each posting says which. Everyone works inside our clients' own EMR and practice management systems under named accounts, and every team member completes HIPAA training before touching patient data.

What We Look For

  • Hands-on experience with US healthcare payers: Medicare, Medicaid and commercial plans such as Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and UnitedHealthcare.
  • Comfort working in systems such as AdvancedMD, eClinicalWorks, Athenahealth, NextGen, Kareo/Tebra or SimplePractice. You do not need all of them.
  • Attention to detail. One wrong modifier or one blank field on an application costs a client weeks.
  • Clear written English, because most of the work is notes, appeals and payer correspondence.

How to Apply

  1. Email your CV to info@curecloudmed.com, with the role you want in the subject line. If no role is posted above, send it anyway and tell us which kind of work you do.
  2. Include the specialties you have billed, coded or credentialed for, the systems you have used, and any certification (CPC, CCS, CPB or similar).
  3. If your experience is a fit, we set up a short call, followed by a practical exercise based on real (de-identified) claims or applications.
  4. Successful candidates receive a written offer, then HIPAA training and system access before their first day.

We reply to every application. Questions about a role can go to the same address, or call us on +1 571-402-1499. To learn more about the company first, see About CureCloudMed.
